Anomaly Vineyards
Founded by Steve and Linda Goldfarb, Anomaly premiered in the 2002 vintage and remains all estate grown (nearly doubling production through adding adjacent parcels over the years to their St. Helena property). Winemaker Mark Porembski took over for founding winemaker Amy Aiken beginning with the 2003 vintage. The winery produces only a Cabernet Sauvignon from heavily thinned vineyards typically yielding less than 2 tons per acre.
