Château Angelus
Château Angelus is located just west of the town of St. Emilion and run by cousins Hubert de Boüard de Laforest and Jean-Bernard Grenié. The property was promoted to Prémier Grand Cru Classé status in 1996. Typical blends consist of Merlot and Cabernet Franc which are grown on Angelus's southerly-exposed vineyards. Château Angelus also produces a second wine called Carillon de l'Angelus.
