Cruvee and Vinfolio Announce Partnership
Cruvee’s Social Media Monitoring Service to Incorporate VinCellar User Generated Content
Summary: Cruvee and Vinfolio announce a partnership in which user generated reviews and comments posted to VinCellar, Vinfolio’s free online cellar management application and social network, will now be incorporated into the Cruvee social media management platform.
Napa, California (October 28, 2009) – Cruvee, the business intelligence platform for the wine industry, and Vinfolio, the foremost source for fine wine, announce a partnership in which user generated reviews and comments posted to VinCellar, Vinfolio’s free online cellar management application and social network, will now be incorporated into the Cruvee social media management platform. This integration will provide wineries and agencies that utilize Cruvee with access to VinCellar content and open up connections to potential consumers.
Rated the Most Innovative Wine Social Network by Vintank, a digital think tank for the wine industry, VinCellar has more than 65,000 users and over 500,000 unique wines listed. Dozens of conversations about wines and wineries take place in the VinCellar Community every day. Previously, this information was not available to any monitoring or management system. Cruvee is the first service to offer this capability.
“As more and more wine drinkers access the internet for wine information and discussion, it is critical that wineries have a clear idea of the conversations about their products,” said Evan Cover, Founder and CEO of Cruvee. “Vinfolio is a technology leader within the wine community, and until now reviews and comments in winery’s communities have been glaringly absent. Cruvee’s social media management tools now present a more complete picture to wineries looking to monitor what is being said about their brands.”
“Vinfolio integrates wine information, wine communication, and wine distribution through all of our vehicles: Vinfolio Store, Vinfolio Marketplace, VinCellar & WinePrices.com,” said Jay Moore, Vice President of Marketing for Vinfolio. “By working with Cruvee, we are able to extend the reach and influence of our services and help winery users see what conversations are taking place about their brands.”
