San Francisco, March 1, 2005 -- Vinfolio announced today that it has opened an office in St. Helena to unify its California wine acquisitions and sales efforts. The new office, located in the heart of Napa Valley, allows Vinfolio to further execute on its commitment to sourcing hard-to-find and highly desirable California collectable and limited production wine for its members.
Doug Wilder will be heading the office as Vinfolio's new Director of California Acquisitions and Sales. Mr. Wilder comes to Vinfolio with fifteen years of experience in California Wine. Most recently, he served as Senior Wine Specialist at Dean & Deluca in Napa Valley, responsible for purchasing from small boutique producers and providing an on-line newsletter highlighting his finds to clients. Previously, Mr. Wilder was a Wine Buyer at a premium wine shop in San Francisco.
