New Cellar: Focus on CA Pinot All-Stars |

This week we have 44 New Cellar acquisitions to offer you.
We brought in an amazing cellar loaded with several of California's top producers of Pinot Noir. Today we are featuring the best of the lot.
This pantheon of great California Pinots begins with the highly successful '04 Aubert UV Vineyard Pinot Noir (93 IWC). We have come to expect nothing less than greatness from this celebrated producer, and '04 has once again validated the high expectations. By keeping the yields extremely low, Aubert managed to craft a beautiful fruit forward pinot noir that maintains a good firm edge.
From Brewer Clifton, another of California's all-star Pinot producers, we are offering 5 magnificent wines. Crafted from vines grown on soils comprised almost completely of diatomite and other calcareous materials including the unusually complex '04 Cargasacchi Vineyard and the highly rated and stunning '05 Pinot Noir Rancho Santa Rosa (94WA)
Few American producers have seen a rise to fame comparable to the one deservedly experienced by Kistler. From this model of consistency we have a pair of winners in the '03 Kister Vineyard Pinot Noir (93 IWC) and the '00 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
No list of California greats would be complete without Marcassin. Giving this gifted producer just due, we are thrilled to offer a pair of wines from four separate vineyards, including the '02 and '03 Bondi Home Ranch Pinot Noir (90 WA) and (94 IWC), and the '00 and '03 Marcassin Vineyard Pinot Noir (95 IWC) and (94 IWC). Lastly, from the Three Sisters Vineyard Pinot Noir, we have the '02 (97 WS) and the '03 (94 IWC).
Of late there has been a stunning sense of urgency among collectors scrambling to acquire the hard to find wines of Peter Michael, and for good reason. We round out this stunning collection with this celebrated producer's '05 Peter Michael Le Moulin Rouge (92 IWC).
