We have added 199 new wines to our inventory over the last week.
We have been very busy this past week finding even more great wines for you all. From Southern France we have just acquired the phenomenal 1998 Chateau de la Negly, Coteaux du Languedoc, La Porte du Ciel containing 100% Syrah with luscious fruit and fantastic structure it is a definite crowd pleaser (92-94 RP).
Heading a little further North to the Southern Rhone Valley we have three fabulous selections: 2006 Roger Sabon Chateauneuf-du-Pape Secret de Sabon (94-96 WA), 2006 Pegau Chateauneuf-du-Pape in Magnum, a rare treat (92-95 IWC), as well as 2004 Montirius Vacqueyras Le Clos (91 WS). All of which are true representations of the power and finesse that has become synonymous with this magical region.
We have also found some stunning Champagnes, both vintaqge and non-vintage. The Lenoble Non-Vintage Brut Blanc de Blancs (89 IWC) and the 1999 Gentilhomme Blanc de Blancs (93 WS) are both lovely, crisp, and dazzling in the glass as is the 1995 Duval-Leroy Brut "La Femme" in Magnum (96 WS). We also have some real treats from our own shores as well. The 2005 Hanzell Estate Chardonnay (94 VF), 2006 Ponzi Pinot Noir Willamette Valley (92 VF), and the 2006 Broc Vine Starr Red (94 VF) are all wonderful wines to treasure.
