We have added 313 new wines to our inventory over the last week.
We have had a busy week, preparing our taxes, spring cleaning, and of course buying wines. This week's selections again span both the New World and the Old World from Walla Walla to Priorate and everything in between. The extraordinary 2006 Walla Walla Vinters, Columbia Valley Cabernet Franc (93 VF) is truly one of the best examples of this varietal in all of Washington. The 2004 Erba Merlot Mountainside Vineyards, a very new discovery for Vinfolio, is a fantastic Merlot (94 VF) from the Atlas Peak AVA and will certainly stand the test of time.
From the "Old World" we have been fortunate enough to purchase a few cases of the outstanding 2006 Delas Freres Condrieu Clos Boucher (96 WA) as well as the 2005 Mas Sinen Coster from Priorato (94 WA), a highly concentrated blend of Old Vine grapes that will certainly be a stunner for years to come.
