Searching

Vinfolio gives you the option of finding wine in the Wine store or the Marketplace:

1. Simply type in the name of the wine you want
2. Select either the Wine Store or Marketplace
3. Click Search for results

If you select the Wine store, this is the result you will see. Note that this screen also provides you with the number of results for your wine in the Marketplace.

To see wines available in the Marketplace, simply click on the results link in blue.

Below is all the 2005 Latour available for bidding in the Marketplace. You’ll note that the Marketplace offers a range of sizes and quantities.

You can bid on any of these wines by clicking the Bid button.

Browsing

You can also browse for wine, instead of doing a direct search, by clicking the "Vinfolio wine store" or "Marketplace" links next to the word "Browse".

When you click on the Vinfolio wine store link you are taken to the screen below where you can:

• Sort listings by Year, Name, Varietal etc.
• Filter the listings by Varietal, Quality etc.
• Select a pre-defined filter by using available "Quick searches"
• Buy the wine in the wine store

Note that you can quickly be taken to Marketplace listings by clicking on the "results" link in blue.

When you click on the Marketplace link you are taken to the screen below where you can:

• Sort listings by Year, Name, Varietal, Quantity for sale, Low ask, etc.
• Filter the listings by Varietal, Quality etc.
• Select a pre-defined filter by using available "Quick searches"
• Bid for the wine in the Marketplace

Note that you can quickly be taken to Wine store listings by clicking on the "results" link in blue.

A few things to consider before placing a bid:

• Be sure to place a realistic bid, consider that the seller is charged a minimum of $8 per bottle sold as well as shipping (if the wine is not in Vinfolio storage).
• Note the location from which you’d like your wine to be sourced. Wine in Vinfolio storage can usually be fulfilled more quickly upon bid acceptance. Learn why location matters.
• Make sure the quantity you are bidding on is actually available in the Marketplace
