The site performance could really be much faster...I see from the toolbar a lot of pings back to the website...could an asynchronous approach fix that? How about not having to refresh to whole page after a change is submitted, e.g., when I log the receipt of a pre-arrival, the whole page gets refreshed before I can log the receipt of another wine.

We're currently working on a brand new VinCellar application (to be released Summer '08) that will heavily utilize AJAX to accomplish many of the items suggested. Stay tuned and thanks for using VinCellar.
