Does the $40 minimum mean that each and every bottle being sold must have a minimum retail value of $40, or just that the average price per bottle of the lot must be at least $40?

We don't have a specific minimum dollar values per bottle. However, we do have an aggregate retail value minimum of $5,000. This means that you can have some bottles that are lower value ($35- $40) but acceptance would depend more on current demand and available reviews for that wine.
