I am completely confused as to the logic that is used. I access VinCellar from multiple different computers. Some of them require me to log in every time I use site, while others seems to retain my login info. I would love to set all of my computers to keep me logged in. It is especially annoying to have to log in again when I walk away from a session for an hour and then return. FOr example, when I locate a wine on the PC, go to my cellar and take the bottle out, drink the wine over an hour or more, then return to my PC that still shows the bottle on the screen. When I try to mark the wine as consumed, I have been logged out and must log in and start again. I know there is a way to stop this because my work PC keeps me logged in all the time.
Any ideas? |

Hi Perry, Thanks for using VinCellar. Because VinCellar is essentially like a bank account to some people, it is designed to automatically log you out after a period of inactivity. I'm not sure how your PC is able to keep you logged in all the time, as we use PCs at our corporate office and we get logged out automatically if we aren't active for about an hour or so. -------------------- Customer Service Lead Specialist VINFOLIO |

I am still confused. I use about 4 or 5 different Macs to log in and some stay logged in perpetually, while others force me to log in every hour or so. Must be configurable, but how? |
