I tried changing some wines in VinCellar from "Home Location" to "In Transit," and it completely deleted them!

They were wines I ordered from Vinfolio but haven't received yet... I hope I didn't mess anything up!

I'm new to Vinfolio / Vincellar so I'm trying to familiarize myself with it, but I'm also not sure if by "tinkering" I might royally mess up orders I haven't received yet!

Hi Craig,

If you've ordered wines from us and they haven't yet been received by you, they will be in one of two places:

"Prearrival" - the default status for all wines that haven't been fulfilled
"Home Site" - the default status for wines that have left our warehouse

Moving wine from "Home Site" to your created location "In Transit" should be ok, but if you're moving wine out of "prearrival", then you might be deleting them from VinCellar accidentally (which actually messes up the fulfillment process in VinCellar). In fact, I'm not sure that the movement of wine to "in transit" is even necessary, as it means you will have to move the wine again to a location once the wine is no longer...in transit.
