I find a hard copy of my cellar contents most helpful, and I found the following view/filters best suits my purpose: Standard View; Print Current View; Basic Inventory List; Grouped by Color, Varietal and Region; Print Summary: Location, Drink Dates etc. But I am struggling to find the logic for the order in which the wines print.
My print out lists white wines first and then reds - not a big problem but not alphabetical. Then it prints by variety, but there appears no alphabetical order or logic to the variety. For example "White - Semillon" prints before "White - Chardonnay" which makes it very difficult when searching for a particular wine variety. But once within one wine variety it appears to print the countries of origin alphabetically, but within a country there is no alphabetical order to the regions. Am I doing something wrong here or am I just asking too much. I thought some additional data base code might be able to sort this. Any assistance will be appreciated. |

Hi there, Unfortunately, at the moment we have no plans to change the current reporting/exporting tool. However, we are working on a completely new site in 2012, so I will pass along your feature requests to our Engineering team! -------------------- Customer Service Lead Specialist VINFOLIO |
