There seems to be an error in the way the average retail price is calculated in wineprices.com on certain wines. for example, the 2005 troplong mondot is showing a $2750/btl price. The auction price at $219.73 seems more in line. Furthermore, the current retail data sourced from global wine stocks is only showing pricing for one retailer (bevmo), which has multiple stores; the issue is that the Bevmo price of $49/btl does not seem correct and the wine is not available from Bevmo.
Please check the algorithm for calculating US retail prices. Similar errors can be found in the 2005: Lynch bages Malescot st-exupery pichon baron beau sejour becot cheval blanc haut bailly gaffeleire larcis ducasse latour leoville barton leoville poyferre mission haut brion |
