When importing in bulk using the vincellar excel template, if a wine doesn't exist in the database and I ask to create it manually, the regional information defaults to the data for the inital search result.
When a user attempts to edit pull downs, if they edit just the country origin all of the subsequent fields do not update. I believe I created a wine from Oregon - Loire - Sancerre or some such the other day, inadvertently, of course. It does seem if you pull down the inital list and say none it resets all of the fields and then you can pull down each level as needed. |
