It would great to see more (any) functionality for sellers on an iphone app/mobile optimized site. The ability to post wines for sale, accept or reject bids, etc... Would be awesome. Thanks for everything!

I know one of the great applications for the iphone is the app that lets you scan a bar code on the bottle and add it to your cellar. Will that integrate with Vincellar? My buddy has it and it works with another web-based cellar program. If not are you all thinking of adding this option.

When searching My Cellar in the iPhone app, each listing has the "in my cellar" posted on teh right side of each line. Clearly space is very tight on iPhone. How about instead of "in my cellar", you print the Location from within our cellar instead. If you are concerned about long location names causing a problem, print the first 12 characters of the Location and it will fit in the same space.

Though we would LOVE to have an iPhone app for our users, we are currently directing our resources towards other projects in regards to software development and maintenance. I was almost positive that when I was logged into VinCellar on my account with my iPhone that there used to be a "My Cellar" tab. However, I cannot seem to find it any more. Am I just imaging this, or did something change with the settings?

For the past 2 weeks the logins from my iphone have not been successful. I hit the login button and then my email address and password push sign in and it just goes back to the login screen like I haven't done anything. I tried a bad password and then I get an error screen but when I type in the correct information I get back to the start screen. In other words I can not access my cellar information via my iphone. Please help.
Apparantely I am having the same trouble as Mark D. |
