Wine Display In Facebook, Short display of vinfolio activity on wall in facebook Options

How do I get the story on facebook from the VinCellar feed to display in short form instead of one line. I understand that the Posts can be edited individually, but I would like to have all Vincellar feeds displayed in short format.

The solution to your issue is to edit the publishing settings of 'My VinCellar' in the Facebook application settings menu. I'm attaching a few images to show you how to do this.

 FB3.png ( 54.49k ) Number of downloads: 5

1. Go to the Facebook home page once you are logged in.
2. In the bottom left corner of the browser click the Applications menu.
3. At the top of the menu click the 'Edit' link.
4. You should now see a list of all your applications. Find 'My VinCellar' and click its 'Edit' link
5. In the next dialogue window choose the option named 'Allow My VinCellar to publish specific story sizes automatically without prompting'.
6. Then choose the sub option 'Short' for the default publishing mode.
7. Click 'Okay' and all future VinCellar updates should show up as short posts.

Hi Yilmaz,

I was able to edit the settings. I will see what happens when the next update occurs.

FYI: I added wine to my VinCellar yesterday 10/7, but I have yet to see the story appear in Facebook. I recall that the update to facebook occured almost immediately in the past.

Hi Yilmaz,
I had no trouble making the setting change, but I note that there have been no feeds from my Vincellar appearing in Facebook since 10/7, although I have had activity since then. Has the Facebook feed been suspended?

Hi Conrad

Our feed stopped working when Facebook updated their system a week ago. We have now updgraded our feed and you should see updates as usual from now on.
