'07 Emerson Brown Cabernet Sauvignon

“This is the third vintage of the collaboration between Keith Emerson (of Vineyard 29) and Brian Brown (of Round Pond) and the third time is definitely the charm! The wine is dark aubergine in color and is slightly opaque without being inky. The perfume is so intense, that the aromas of blue fruits, violets and dark chocolate are almost overwhelming. On the palate the wine is incredibly balanced with good tannins, structure, concentration, and minerality. There are lingering flavors of dark chocolate, dark berry fruit, and just a hint of cedar. This is a beautiful Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and a fantastic value.
