($35; 100% godello) Pale yellow. Spicy citrus, orange and melon aromas are brightened by zesty minerals; smells like Puligny-Montrachet. Suave white peach and pear flavors lead to firm lemon zest, spice and chalky minerality on the back end. Impressively elegant and clean wine with the balance to age for a couple of years. I drank this with a halibut pasta dinner on 8/2/08. It was a yellow hay color with wonderful buttery aromas of grapefruit, lemon, apple, pear & minerals. While all of this does follow on the palate, grapefruit is really the dominate flavor. It has lots of mouth watering acidity, is full bodied and very smooth with a slight tartness. It ends with a long (50 second) chalky finish. I really like this...VERY IMPRESSIVE!
