A subtly complex nose of yeast, floral and citrus notes leads to equally subtle, pure and quite refined flavors with real finishing elegance. Despite the presence of plenty of pinot, this is really rather understated and refined and will best please those who enjoy "quiet" examples rather than "power" Champagne. That said, I want to make clear that there is plenty of flavor authority here, it's just delivered differently. Great quality in the context of the vintage.

Fantastically skillful winemakership in a serious style. Perfect handling of oak barrels, bitingly crisp, dry and pure with stylish tones of terroir, biscuits and a resoundingly clean aftertaste of Granny Smith apples. A wine for connoisseurs.
