(from 4 different parcels within Puligny, including Blagny from vines that average 50 years of age; this too was vinified in steel but the élevage occurred in barrel, of which only 5% were new) This is almost as ripe and also carries mild exotic fruit notes into the sappy, rich, full and opulent flavors that possess a lush mouth feel and less precision than normal on the otherwise nicely extended finish. This is already drinking well and I wouldn't age it personally as it risks becoming heavy.

Superripe aromas and flavors of peach and apricot. The palate offers good vivacity and a burst of fruit, with juicy acidity and an enticing floral character giving it appeal. Just a bit youthfully hard-edged, but this is serious village wine.

Simple white Burgundy, not too fancy. Very subtle nose with some light fruit essence, walnuts and yeast. The wine has some nice fruit and spice components that add to the balance, but the finish is a little thin.
