($65) Green-tinged yellow. Peach, melon and brown spices on the nose, with apple and pear emerging with aeration. Showing more lees and spice character than primary fruit in the mid-palate. Finishes strong but a tad alcoholic, with the spicy character dominating.

A ripe, flashy style, showing a burst of pear, apple, melon and citrus, with a dash of hazelnut and spice. Complex and well-proportioned.

Shows beautifully defined pear, mineral and vanilla pod in the nose. The palate has excellent acidity with warm overlapping smooth layers of citrus, rich baked pear tart and complementing oak.
