(70% new oak): Good bright, dark red with ruby highlights. Brilliantly perfumed nose offers red cherry, red raspberry, rose petal and crushed rock; a noble essence of Burgundy. Dense packed and chewy with extract but like a live wire in the mouth, with harmonious acidity giving outstanding precision and cut to the sweet red fruit, floral and mineral flavors. Most impressive today on the mounting peacock's tail of a finish, which features noble, fine-grained tannins and outstanding lingering perfume. Quite primary today but already demonstrates great character.
