The 2010 Zinfandel Pagani Ranch is another striking wine. It boasts fabulous depth yet at the same time maintains remarkable aromatic freshness and nuance. Dark cherries, flowers, mint and licorice flesh out on a beautifully articulated finish laced with persistent saline notes. This slightly cooler site was somewhat protected from the severe heat. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020.
