Hazy gold. Highly complex aromas of orange zest, poached pear and hazelnut, accented by a mineral topnote. Rich, chewy and densely packed, with bright citrus and orchard fruit flavors lifted by strong minerality. Energetic, wonderfully balanced wine with a spicy, mineral-drenched, very persistent finish.

The 2010 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir blossoms in the glass with fragrant apricots, peaches and orange peel. A rich, generous wine, the 2010 is beautifully woven together. Once again, the Mon Plaisir is the showiest of the Chardonnays. Sweet floral notes give the finish its attractive texture and lift. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2022.
