Vivid red. Zesty redcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by pungent herbs and dried rose. Spicy and precise, with very good lift and cut to its bitter cherry and red berry compote flavors. Finishes smooth and gently sweet, with supple tannins shaping the clinging finish. This pinot fills out very nicely with aeration, suggesting that it's a strong cellar candidate.

The 2010 Pinot Noir Reed Vineyard, which was harvested from November 6th through November 11th, offers up loads of underbrush and sweet spice to go with medium-bodied, elegant and textured palate that shares the same integration and balance of all of this estate's wines. A beautiful bottle of wine, with a weightless feel and building tannin, it should be enjoyed over the coming decade. Drink now-2023.
