(cabernet sauvignon with merlot, petit verdot, cabernet franc and malbec): Good bright red-ruby. Inviting aromas and flavors of cassis, bitter cherry, mocha and fresh herbs. Sweet, dense and nicely concentrated, offering both a fine-grained texture and rather suave tannins. The long finish is firmed by a mineral component. This is much easier to taste today than the two "mountain wines" and is the top value in the portfolio this year.

Not a bad bottle of wine. Second night (second 1/2), was good, perhaps better. I found it to have some fruit, smoothness and structure.
