Black raspberry, smoked meat and a savory saline scent on the nose. Plush and silky in the mouth, with deep raspberry, cured ham and brown spice flavors complemented by a briney quality. No easy sweetness here in spite of its rich texture. Finishes with noble, edge-free tannins, superb length and a magically light touch for high-octane syrah.
