Pale, green-tinged yellow. Peach, flowers and hazelnut on classic Puligny nose. Then sweet and fruity in the mouth, with very ripe stone fruit flavors complicated by hints of honey and menthol. The dusty, slightly aggressive finish displays excellent density and an intriguing flinty character. Boasts impressive volume for village wine.

First nose of honeysuckle flower, pear, lemon curd and some oak. Palate is medium to full bodied with the same floral and pear notes as well as a good mineral quality. The acidity is a bit firm so could do with another year of cellaring as well as to integrate the oak notes.

Nose starts out with smoky, stony high notes, deepens quickly into apples sauteed in butter, fresh apricots, and a hint of tropical fruits. Quite closed on the palate, fruit is hiding, stony minerality, oak and alcohol are in front, decant or hold 2 years.

On the nose, powerful notes of smoke, oak spice, stone and white flowers. On the palate, more of a lemon curd, cream and wet stone driven flavor profile than one driven by fruit. If I had to pin down any fruit flavors, white peach and semi-ripe pineapple come to mind. Overall, a very tight fisted, well-structured and moderately powerful wine that combines power, delicacy and crystalline flavors. A little sleepy time in the cellar would do this wine some good.
