Reviews For This Wine

Vivid red. Fresh strawberry and raspberry on the fragrant nose, with a sexy floral quality adding complexity. Lively and precise, offering bright red fruit and floral flavors underscored by smoke and spice notes. Finishes with very good clarity, cut and spicy persistence. I like this wine's focus and balance.

About This Producer

Recognized as one of the top producers in the Pacific Northwest, St. Innocent focuses primarily on vineyard-designated Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc rounding out the portfolio. The winery was founded in 1988 by winemaker and president Mark Vlossak with the intent of producing terroir-specific bottlings that "complement and extend the pleasure of a meal." 2007 marked the first vintage for St, Innocent in a new gravity-flow winery, and just a year prior the first vineyard land was purchased, a portion of the Zenith Vineyard in Eola-Amity Hills. Total production is 6,800 cases.
