Full ruby. Dark berries and cherry compote on the pungent, smoke-accented nose. Rich, palate-coating blackberry and boysenberry flavors show very good depth and become spicier with air. Picks up an exotic floral pastille note on the long, penetrating finish. This wine is slow to unfold and really demands some patience.

This striking wine possesses soft tannins as well as a forward, up-front style. Enjoy it over the next 15+ years.
