Peter Thompson knew for 20 years he wanted to be involved in the wine business, and in 1995 he took the first steps toward fulfilling his goal. He purchased a 13-acre plot on Diamond Mountain and, under the direction of Rex Geitner, planted to Bordeaux varieties. John Gibson has served as winemaker since the first vintage in 2000. The winery's concentration is classic mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon; production is a modest 2000 cases.
