Deep in red and dark berry flavors but surprisingly lively, offering good mineral tang and a touch of Szechuan peppercorn on the back half. Animated and precise pinot with admirable finishing breadth and spiciness.

Another great KB pinot. Mocha-infused cherries, smoke (not as fire-tainted as some other pinots from this vintage), and lavender, all round out this great pinot.
