With a light straw-green color in the glass, this youthful and classy Kistler boasts a fresh nose of lemon citrus and green apple framed with well-integrated oak and spice. The palate displays flavors that follow the nose plus stone fruit. A crisp acidity provides a nice structure and carries through for a very polished finish.

Although this is a multi-vineyard blend, this chardonnay is a great introduction to the style of Kistler's family of single vineyard chardonnays. Full-bodied and flashy, but stylish, sleek, classy and expensive tasting. Well-balanced , with hallmark chardonnay flavors of lemon, apple pie and custard framed by really fun oak and spice flavors. I like this a lot.

Wonderful example of a classic Kistler chardonnay, with lovely balance of fruit, mostly citrus and apple-pear, with bright acidity and a creamy finish. Really great value for a wine of this quality.

Fresh, juicy pineapple/tropical fruit with zippy acidity. Stone fruit on the palate with good balance. Complex and clean, good intro to Kistler's new, less-oaked (but definitely not "no oak") style.

A very nice entry level Kistler that reflects the house style. There is good use of oak and the acidity is there to cleanse your palate, begging for another sip. Overall, a well made and very enjoyable wine.
