($240) Pale yellow-straw. Musky, deeply pitched nose shows citrus and mineral elements. Enters the mouth sweet, but racy acidity and solid underlying minerality give shape and energy to the stone fruit and spice flavors. There's a bit of meaty reduction here, which I take as a positive sign for the likely evolution of this wine. A serious grand cru that needs some time.
