Upright and serious wine with aromas of apple, spices and crushed stone. Almost painful in the mouth, with a steely mineral spine giving the wine uncanny cut. As firm as this is today, it conveys a powerful impression of personality. The apple, spice and mineral flavors go on and on on the aftertaste. This boasts outstanding structure for aging.

Amazing, and surprising, amount of richness on the nose. And then spread. Lovely lovely stuff – without being too tart, great blend of Corton richness and structure and acidity. All in balance. Still chewy on the end but promised beauty. Very impressive.
