($502) Bright pale yellow. Initially reticent nose opens slowly to reveal exotic orange oil, honey, flowers and rock. Then wonderfully sweet and creamy in the mouth, with tangy tangerine and orange flavors complicated by crushed stone, toast and a leesy nuance. Penetrating stony acidity keeps this wine on message, but the very long finish also boasts superb lingering sweetness and breadth to go with the firm minerality.

A terrific white Burgundy, already showing more about place than grape, with the creamy texture underscored by a mineral drive. Moreover, there's an energy propelling the lime, butter, pastry, peach and spice notes to a lingering conclusion, ending with a fine, creamy finish and finesse.
