($52) Bright ruby. Muskier and more brooding than the Sonoma Coast bottling, showing black raspberry, oak spice, cola and dried rose qualities. Round and sappy in the mouth, offering sweet dark fruit flavors and showing no rough edges. Pretty seductive already, with very good finishing cling and an echo of cherry-cola.

Another great Kosta Browne pinot. Plenty of bright cherry fruit, spices, and a touch of smokey oak.
