(56% cabernet sauvignon and 44% merlot; 42 hl/ha; 25% new oak) Full, dark red. Fresh aromas of blueberry and garden flowers. Ripe and soft on entry, with spicy black fruit and cocoa flavors. One of the more voluptuous Bernadottes of recent memory. Finishes moderately long, creamy-soft and slightly warm. This should make an excellent food wine and, given its relatively low price, an excellent restaurant buy.
