(bottled at 14.2%; $34) This is really quite pretty with an airy red berry fruit nose that is very pinot in basic character and leads to detailed, vibrant and attractively balanced flavors that possess just enough complexity to avoid being one-dimensional. Despite being on the simple side, I like the style.

($34) Bright red. Spicy red and dark berry aromas are complemented by fresh flowers and baking spices. Smoothly blends spicy and sweet on the palate, offering black raspberry and white pepper qualities and finishing with dusty tannins that add grip. A deeper cherry note arrives on the long, sappy aftertaste. This is already delicious.

Appealing berry and fragrant floral aromas are elegant and refined in this balanced, medium-bodied Pinot, with red berry and spicy herbal notes.
