($50-$60) Bright, medium ruby-red. Very expressive aromas of plum, tobacco, smoked meat and sexy oak. Broad, sweet and sexy, with a vein of acidity giving the wine clarity and a note of woodsmoke contributing early appeal. Finishes long, with mounting tannins. A noteworthy success for the year.

Fresh mushroom, berry and currant on the nose and palate. Medium body, good tannins and plenty of fruit for the vintage.
Trust Rating: 90

Dark ruby-red core fading slightly towards the rim, medium+ glycerol. The nose is packed with blackberry and blueberry fruit, graphite, rose petal, complex and perfumed with hints of crushed rock and cloves. The wine is graceful on the palate, medium acidity, medium+ tannin that builds quickly and dissipates slowly (brushed cotton).
Minerals mixed with blackcurrant and dark berry fruit. Not a lot of earthy component in this one, fruit and stone flavors dominate. The finish is persistent and lengthy.
