($19) Pale gold. Zesty lemon, green apple and mineral aromas are complicated by pungent herbs and dried flowers. Firm, sharply focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors are refreshingly dry and focused, with a hint of anise adding interest. I like the uncompromising minerality and dryness of this wine, and the finishing bite of bitter quinine is really intriguing.

Deliciously crisp, not over-oaked. Really enjoyed this one on an 85-degree scorcher in San Francisco.

Very different from the Source, this has a fuller body and while still crisp, the acidity is more integrated. It paired wonderfully with pasta and chicken in a pesto sauce.
