Sleek and focused, with a grainy edge to the citrus, pear, apple and spice notes that are intense, vibrant, tight and focused. Slow to unfold, but a good cellar choice.

Clear, light golden in hue. Clean aromas of chalky, white mineral and citrus blossom. Dry, dense palate of green apple, white citrus and hints of salty minerals with a touch of buttery oak. Medium bodied with racy acidity and moderate alcohol. Long finish with a tart yet satisfying overall mouth feel. A good reflection of the wine's terroir with little interventional maneuvers in the wine making according to the winemaker. Only 33% of the racked juice saw new oak. The flavors are rather bold here and I could use a bit more integration but overall a very enjoyable chardonnay.
