Lush, sweet and sexy, showing a fine-grained, suave texture to the flavors of red fruits and leather. Quite full for an Altesino wine, in the ripe, rich style of the vintage. And a step up in intensity and structure from the 2007 classico . Finishes with utterly smooth tannins and terrific lingering perfume. These 2007s are worthy successors to Altesino's outstanding 2006s.

Detta är en väldigt genrös Brunello med lager på lager av mörk frukt där svarta vinbär och körsbär dominerar tillsammans med toner av lakrits i en lite kryddig stil. Vinet är fylligt med fantastisk balans i total harmoni. Ett mycket bra exempel på vad Sangiovese kan leverera! Vinet har på traditionellt sätt vilat på stora ekfat från Slovenien i ca 24 månader och sedan ca 6 månader på flaska innan lansering.
