(90% grenache and 10% syrah): Bright, full red. Strawberry liqueur, cherry, flint and a whiff of maple syrup on the nose; reminded me of Philip Togni's Ca' Togni dessert wine. Then supple and surprisingly dry, with harmonious acidity leavening the wine's mouthfilling texture. Finishes with a light dusting of tannins. Very grenache, but I wanted a bit more primary fruit and lift.
