Bright, deep red-ruby. Oak aromas of black cherry, coffee and graphite. Juicy, tight and firmly built, with black fruit flavors currently overshadowed by exotic oak tones. Shows a restrained sweetness but avoids the dryness of so many 2006 cabernets. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins.

The unmistakable signature of vanilla bean and coconut scents fold in nicely with taut yet supple tiers of cedar, black cherry, currant and berry jam notes. Full-bodied, ending with firm, structured tannins.
