($42) Saturated ruby. Intensely aromatic bouquet of raspberry, black cherry, rose, magnolia and baking spices. Vibrant red fruits on the palate, with lively minerality adding more energy and lift. This impressively pure and juicy wine is a wonderfully graceful rendition of zinfandel-one of the more elegant expressions of this grape I've had in some time. (JR)

really dark pretty color. flowers and dark fruit on nose. bit of spice. bit alc too. really enjoyed all-told, but think i'll wait 6-9 months on next try. nextday, itwas night and day diff--especially with the blue cheese sauce on the steak--outstabnding.
