($55) Pale yellow. Sweet floral aromas over raspberry, nutmeg and lemon oil. The palate is rich but juicy, with a persistent honeyed character. Finishes soft and low-keyed, with peach and mineral salts. A serious spatlese but not in the normal house style.

Reduced in aroma, this needs air, yet the purity and silky texture are beautiful. Apricot, lime, slate and vanilla pastry flavors weave throughout the plump frame. Shows lovely balance and length.
