(from white pinot noir, which is better known as Pinot Gouges; the vines were planted in 1947 - the production is between 2000 and 2500 bottles and it ages almost like a red) A very subtle touch of wood sets off a more elegant and notably more complex nose that is both floral and citrusy while preceding rich but well detailed flavors that possess obvious underlying minerality, all wrapped in a delicious, austere, dry and slightly chewy finish.
