Wine Spectator Author: James Suckling

Gorgeous aromas of blackberry, currant, raspberry and just a hint of toasty oak and coffee. Full-bodied, with supervelvety tannins and wonderful balance. The finish goes on and on. 40 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 40 percent Merlot and 20 percent Sangiovese.

Funky nose, astringent with an odd metallic aftertaste. Hopefully a spoiled bottle or this is the worst Oreno I've tasted.

Very nice nose of smoky leather and cassis. Mild cedar showing over an hour. Deep puple with slight thinning at the edge. Quite astringent finish which I hope will soften with time. Probably not yet ready.
